One platform instead of a tool that almost fit.
RAE Group · Auto service · United States
RAE Group ran marketing for about 15 auto service shops on rented software that didn't fit how they work. We built them their own AI platform.
Before
Rented software and an outside agency, a bill every month, slow data, robotic review replies, and marketing tracked in store managers' spreadsheets.
After
One AI platform they own, running reminders, coupons and reviews for every location from one dashboard.
Where they started
RAE Group runs about 15 auto service shops across the US. Their goal is simple: more cars through the door.
Reminders, review requests and coupons ran through an outside agency on rented software. It worked, mostly. But it came with a bill every month, data that synced slowly, and automatic review replies that sounded like a robot.
Their marketing team wanted to stop renting and own the system, once and for all.
The tricky part
The old tool did a lot, and their team knew it inside out. The new platform had to do everything it did, and then some.
The customer data lives in each shop's own system, so getting it out cleanly and quickly was the first big job. And marketing done outside the old tool, like social ads and mailers, was tracked in store managers' spreadsheets.
What we built
- Service reminders by SMS and email, based on time and mileage.
- Win-back messages for customers who haven't been in for a while.
- Review requests sent soon after each visit, and AI replies to reviews that sound human.
- Coupons with tracking, so they know which promotions bring cars in.
- One dashboard across every location.
"We asked Dany and the team to build us a custom AI platform, and they delivered something we couldn't find anywhere on the market. It's like we added a full marketing team overnight."
